You can link Dentrix Enterprise with a third-party digital X-ray and imaging system. To link to the compatible third-party product, you must have that third-party software and the corresponding "key" (software that bridges Dentrix Enterprise with another software) installed on the same computer as Dentrix Enterprise. (The key file must be version 3.0 or higher.) The following table displays the supported third-party product along with the version that has been tested for use with Dentrix Enterprise:

Note: Dolphin and Dexis can be linked with Dentrix Enterprise but not through DentriXlink.
To open a third-party product
Do one of the following:
With a patient select in Family File, Chart, or Ledger, click the DentriXlink button on the toolbar.
With a patient's appointment selected in Appointment Book, click the DentriXlink button on the toolbar.
In Office Manager, click the DentriXlink button on the toolbar.
The third-party software opens.
